Open Forum Instructions
Those who would like to speak during the “Open Forum” portion of the meeting must have a microphone set up on or built into their computer or laptop. If you do not have a microphone on your computer then you will have the option to call into the meeting through your cell phone or landline to listen to the meeting while also watching the meeting on your computer screen.
 
Upon entering the meeting, all attendees will automatically be muted. At the beginning of the meeting, homeowners will be given approximately 30-minutes to submit their request to speak. We will un-mute attendees one at a time during homeowner forum.

]]><![CDATA[Important notice regarding assessment coupon books]]>Tue, 29 Dec 2020 17:44:45 GMThttps://www.sierrahighlandshoa.com/news/important-notice-regarding-assessment-coupon-books​This message is for those residents that pay using the annual coupon book.  This does not affect anyone already using auto-debit/ACH, their bank's bill pay service, or through PayLease/Zego. 
 
All coupon books were ordered on December 4th, however due to Covid the supplier of the coupon books has had to operate with fewer staff members than needed.  In addition, due to both the holidays and Covid affecting the post office, what would normally take 3-5 business days to deliver the mail is now taking 2-3 weeks. 
 
Remember most communities allow until the 15th of the month before a payment is considered late.


If you would like to mail in your payment before you receive a coupon book you can mail it to the bank:

You may also sign up to pay online by clicking the “My Account” Icon, then Log On, then Login.   Please be aware that before you can sign up for automatic payment, your account must have a zero balance.  Please make any balance due payments by check, and then come back and sign up for auto-draft.  You can make a one-time payment online, but there are small fees charged by the third party provider that processes credit and debit cards for the Association.

Prior to the regular session, the Board will hold an Executive Session Meeting (6:00 PM). Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Owners will be allowed to attend the meeting virtually via zoom. Information on how to attend the meeting has been emailed to all owners and is available on the private side of the website, under the my account tab. We are still in the processes of collecting details on what transpired and will send more information once received. During the holiday season, we tend to see an increase in crime throughout the county. Any suspicious behavior should be reported immediately  to the City of San Diego Police Department at 858-484-3154 (non-emergency line). If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 9-1-1. The Association has contacted the City of San Diego Crime Prevention department and requested additional patrols for the area.

]]><![CDATA[Carmel valley planning board]]>Fri, 12 Jan 2018 01:17:08 GMThttps://www.sierrahighlandshoa.com/news/carmel-valley-planning-board​As you may already know, the Carmel Valley Planning Board ("CVPB") has created a livability subcommittee to advise the City of San Diego on the quality of life issues in in the Pacific Highlands Ranch Communities. A meeting was held on October 26, 2017 in which many residents were in attendance to report significant traffic issues. The CVPB subcommittee is interested in better understanding the unique traffic issues that current affect various developments within the West Highlands Pacific and Pacific Highlands Ranch Communities. Sierra Highlands (Brightwater, Manzanita Trail, Casabella and Hampton Lane) is one of the communities they are interested in hearing from. Representatives from the City of San Diego, as well as the Solana Beach/San Dieguito School Districts are expected to attend this meeting as well. 

All residents are invited to share their individual traffic concerns with the subcommittee this coming Wednesday, January 17th at 4:30 PM. The meeting will be held at Airoso Recreation Center at 6135 Galante Place, San Diego, Ca 92130.
